Stanley County Election Costs Break Record in State
Stanley county spent over four thousand dollars on holdover election costs including ballot distribution polling place rent and staff fees. Canvassing board auditor office expenses and publications pushed total above four thousand making Stanley county the highest in the state by about a thousand dollars. Adding last June’s primary costs about two thousand five hundred brings total to six thousand five hundred dollars for this year with roughly one dollar fifty per voter.
