Extension of Milwaukee St Paul Railway to the Pacific Coast
The Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul Railway extends toward the Pacific coast as a 9000 mile system. Construction began April 1906 and aims to finish 1400 miles by April 1 1909. Route runs from Mobridge SD to Seattle Tacoma with major bridges tunnels and grade reductions along the way.
