Dr A H Laing Resigns Pastoral Post After Long Service
Dr A H Laing has resigned as pastor of St John’s Universalist church after nearly twenty nine years of service. He will remain in Joliet for the rest of his years and continue as pastor until year’s end. Born February 8 1844 in Kosciusko County Indiana he began his ministry in 1869 serving three main pastorates Marcellus Illinois Bartville Illinois and Joliet since 1878.
