Three Drunk Men Near Freeze Save by Police in Joliet
Charles Smith F. Holtz and Artie Johnson, all intoxicated and unmarried, were found unconscious on Joliet streets during the coldest night of winter. Police rescued Smith at 10 pm near Chicago street, Holtz at 11:30 pm on Jefferson Street, and Johnson at 8:30 pm near Joliet and Wallace Streets, reviving them and placing them in cells.

Death Following Delirium Tremens In County Jail
