Thomas O Callaghan sues Chicago Joliet Electric for 5000 in a fall from a scenic railway car at Dellwood Park on September 25 1906. He says the car stopped suddenly and threw him into a gully while Kirby clung to a handle to avoid a similar fate. Kirby was carried to the station after the incident. News reached Joliet relatives that Mrs Mahala Carl Baldwin widow of Jesse Baldwin died in El Paso Texas on Sunday morning She had left Joliet April 4 with her daughter and two grandchildren for California but illness of Fayette caused a stop in El Paso where she later suffered paralysis and died The surviving children Delia Jennie and Arthur with Henry Leach and Arthur Baldwin were noted The funeral was held in Joliet with burial at Oakwood
