Saloon keepers fined for Sunday closing law violations

In county court this morning several saloonkeepers faced charges for violating the Sunday closing law. Paul Grabimnovich admitted guilt and paid $20 plus costs on two counts after inquiry about fines. G W Keiber pleaded guilty on two counts and paid $20 each. Frank Daditch paid $20 on two counts, with the Spring Creek Drainage commission report filed without protest.

Eight-Year-Old Survives 26-Foot Plunge

An eight-year-old boy fell twenty six feet from a precipice and landed on rock mass. He was uninjured or escaped with only slight injuries according to reports.

Fred E. Krattz eight son of Carl Krattz of 706 Sam slipped from a six foot fence at the rear of St Peter's Lutheran school on North Broadway. He was taken home for examination but suffered no broken bones, with only shock and possible temporary effects feared.
