Rodakovic was stabbed five times by Michael Busta in Rockdale saloon last night. He remains in critical condition as police investigate the assault and possible motive. Witnesses report a chaotic bar scene and a hurried departure by the suspect.
Michael Rodakovic 22 staggered a quarter mile home after a life long friend, Michael Busta alias Colorado, stabbed him five times during a drunken fight at Martin Zagar's saloon in Rockdale. Rodakovic remains hospitalized at St Josephs. Busta is sought by police. Both men worked at American Steel Co. and their old country friendship ended in violence.

Rosita taken into custody Saturday night charged with causing a disturbance on Scott Street and possessing a large gatling gun. He was arraigned before Police Magistrate Allen this morning, fined $5 plus $0.34 costs totaling $7.50, which he could not pay, and committed to the bridewell. He asked what good are rich relations.

A report states George Weimholdt was struck by mental disease thought to be inherited and an inquiry into family matters was conducted Saturday afternoon.
George Weimholdt a 22 year old Wheatland farmer was taken into custody after attempting to harm his mother and going into a violent fit. Sheriff H O Williams and Deputy Al Lindgren transported him to Kankakee after an inquiry at the Joliet courthouse. Neighbors reported the episode began after breakfast and his family kept watch. The incident ends with hope for treatment in Kankakee.
Chicago, November 23. Battling Nelson, world lightweight champion, was arrested on a warrant from Magistrate Hunter of Burnham. Charged with assault and battery disorderly conduct and witnessing a dog fight, Nelson reportedly jumped into the pit to halt the fight before police intervened and arrested the spectators.

Joseph Aignen and Tony Matteo were each fined ten dollars and costs after a street confrontation last night on Collin Street. The incident resulted in minor injuries and police reports.
