John Gaimoon a 46 year old Italian laborer living at 609 South Chicago Street Rockdale was shot twice by Chief Anton Pirc in Bolti and Levsik's saloon after a barroom incident. Inquest held by Deputy Coroner Frank Noel. two rival accounts fuel debate over the shooting.

Coroners Verdict in Speckman Case Declares Acid Suicide

The coroner ruled Louis Speckman died from acid poisoning, probably carbolic, after an inquest at Dames undertaking rooms. Louis Hunt testified about the discovery while John Weigel noted Speckman’s Thursday supper. funeral set for 2 PM at 1211 Elizabeth Street conducted by Rev. C G Reynolds under Modern Woodmen auspices.

Death of Henry Richards in Texas

Word has been received announcing the death of Henry Richards at San Antonio Texas. He died Wednesday March 18. The remains will be brought to this city for burial and the funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survived by his wife and two children. He formerly resided at 109 Melchoir place.
