William Erb Dead at 4 O Clock Funeral Wednesday
William Erb treasurer of the People's Loan and Homestead association died at his home 407 South Eastern avenue Monday March 9 at 4 am after a six month illness. Survived by wife three children and two sisters. Funeral Wednesday 2 30 pm at residence with Rev Thomas W MacLean and Rev A H Laing. Interment Oakwood. Born Baden Baden Germany May 26 1843 he came to the U S in 1849 and engaged in coal and grocery business before becoming a stockholder and treasurer of the association since 1883.
