The Shanghai Times correspondent reports the United States battleship Oregon ran aground in fog off Hoo Kie island, about thirty five miles north of Chefoo. Jarding etc. are sending aid.
Shanghai dispatch reports Premier dispatch from Paris details a nine article agreement between Viceroys of Nanking and Hankow and Shanghai consuls to safeguard lives and property of missionaries and foreign merchants in southern and eastern China.
