The funeral for William Mason, who died in Blue Island, was held at St Mary’s Church at 9 am. The body arrived by special train to this city and carried fifteen members of the Blue Island group of Hayles, Mason’s local association, to the burial at Mount Olivet. Relatives attended from this city.
