William Wills ten year old son of Mrs Ellen Wills was attacked by two bulldogs belonging to Dr Charles Curtiss at Broadway and Holge Park Avenue. His left ear was torn and his face and limbs were severely injured. The dogs were muzzled but the straps allegedly allowed biting. Thomas McQuirk is said to be responsible for provoking the dogs. The boy was treated by Dr Abell and returned home. The animals were declared vicious and shipped from the city. Dr Curtiss offered to do what is right.
