Disorderly cases flood magistrate court amid hot city
The morning docket at Magistrate Allen's court included John Coffee and Della Chilis Coffee each sentenced to ninety days at the county sanitarium with further fines for John Coffee. A state complaint by Mrs. Monroe was dismissed. Other arrests included Charles Burdett for intoxication and disorderly conduct, ordered to serve eight and a half dollars, and J P Gerard detained for intoxication and disorderly conduct before being released to leave the city. Police dispersed students throwing stones near St Patrick's school.
