Arrest of Bert Allen on Old Larceny Charge
Bert Allen was arrested at the St Nicholas hotel at 1 15 am on a warrant sworn by Leopold Fleischer former manager of the Anheuser Busch Brewing Co. He will have a preliminary hearing at 1 pm before Police Magistrate Allen. Allen allegedly stole about 80 in receipts while employed as a bartender at the Duncan House and vanished. He is jailed at headquarters awaiting the hearing.
