Christ Church Choir Boys Launch Their Home Made Steam Launch
The Christchurch choir boys unveiled a new sixteen foot gasoline launch built entirely by the boys. It speeds up to six miles per hour with a single propeller and a brass rail around bow and stern for safety. The craft will seat ten to twelve passengers and honors the boys for constructing the engine and all parts in a barn behind the church. A large crowd witnessed the launch with electric lights and dancing planned at Reck Run park that evening.
