A head on crash between two Missouri Pacific passenger trains near Mastin Kansas killed Aug Blooma of Clear Lake South Dakota and injured nineteen others. Brown, both from East St. Louis, received jail terms of twenty and twenty five days on vag charges for seeking work with Alton without success. Jno. Sith, colored, had his case discharged after proving he secured a position with a local tea company.
