William F Hutchins born April 1 1833 in New Hampshire died January 19 19Qs at 9 40 am at 114 Rowell Avenue Folet after facial erysipelas and kidney illness He lived in Monee where he led Sunday school church and educational work He served as deputy county clerk under H H and filled county clerk duties until 1902 He became first probate clerk for the county He married Virginia Bryan in 1856 and had six children three living later married Mary L Esterbrooks December 31 1898 Survives include Bryan Mrs Philip Reitz and Bertram He was a member of Monee Lodge of Odd Fellows and Mt Joliet Lodge of Masons Funeral Thursday January 16 at Central Presbyterian Church and home at 2 30

J B Gleissner aged 51 died after a peritonitis operation at Silver Cross hospital. He was a shipping clerk and head time keeper at Bates machine shops, longtime Joliet resident, keeper of Seals and Records for Joliet Lodge No 632 Knights of Pythias. Survived by wife Sarah Francis and two sons Howard and Arthur. Funeral arrangements pending with the lodge in charge.
