Louis Blaeser a prominent Joliet German resident died Saturday at his home 108 East Marion street. Born in 1829 in Germany he came to the United States in 1854 and settled in Joliet in 1856. He worked as a carpenter on the Joliet penitentiary project and partnered with Wm. Speer in business. Survived by widow and four children Fred Mary Casper and Edith the funeral is set for tomorrow at 1 pm at the residence with Rev. Richard Schiele officiating.
