The Calendar club at the First Baptist Church hosted its second annual bazar in the Sunday school room to benefit the parish. Handmade goods, candy, aprons, and painted china were sold by volunteers led by Miss N. B. Tate and Miss Sarah Tate with Rev. B. F. Martin in support. Lunches run 11 to 2, with Saturday featuring hot chicken pie. proceeds go to the church treasury.
