Clark Arrested for Highway Robbery in Sixth Ward
James Clark aged 22 was arrested Saturday night on a highway robbery charge after assaulting Chauncey Blake near Shelby and Ottawa streets and taking $1.25. Clark, living at 416 Water Street, denied guilt and faces a hearing in Police Magistrate Cameron's court next Monday, held on 1500 dollars bond. A cold wave filled the city with shelter seekers at the police station.
