Passing of H L Cady Long Known in Joliet
H L Cady a longtime Joliet merchant and respected citizen died at 12 20 pm November 29 at his son Fred Cady’s residence in Chicago. He was born in Albany New York in 1644 and moved to Wilmington Illinois in 1968 joining Holmes and later forming Holmes and Cady hardware in Joliet. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery on November 30.

Man Arrested for Horse Theft Claims Booze Defense
