Thirteen year old abused youth sent to Glenwood school

In county court Judge Cowing ordered Charles Kreiger aged 13 declared dependent and sent to the state school for boys at Glenwood. He testified of abuse by Edward Lyman a Maple Street farmer, who denies the accusation. The boy, living with Lyman eight months, described living in a barn and wearing minimal clothing while Lyman claimed he was not at home when the boy left. Prosecutor John H. Garnsey led the case for the city school board.

Scots Gather for Dellwood Park Caledonian Picnic
