O Callaghan Jury Returns Guilty Verdict in Personal Injury Case
In circuit court the jury found Thos s O Callaghan guilty and awarded $1,600 damages against the Chicago and Joliet Electric railway and the Dellwood Park company. The suit arose from injuries after being thrown from a scenic railway car on the last night of the 1906 season. The jury deliberated twenty one and a half hours before reaching the verdict. a motion for a new trial has been entered and may go to the Appellate court if denied.

Mrs Inez Saylor Found Dead In Joliet
Mrs Inez Saylor of Joliet died at her home likely hours before found by her son E Saylor. Long illness included tuberculosis and a fall last winter that left her unable to walk. Born January 20 1843 in Bethlehem she had lived in Joliet since 1867 and is survived by two sons Clinton and W Saylor and brother Hare Herrick. Funeral services Monday at 2 pm from the residence with the Order of Eastern Star in charge. Interment in the local cemetery.
