Special to the Indianapolis Journal Marion Ind Sept 21 boiler at an oil pumping station on Tenth street and Norton avenue exploded alarms residents but caused no loss of life. The twenty five horse power boiler reportedly overheated from sleeping engineer and was hurled about 100 yards across a square before landing near Belt Railroad tracks damaging ties and snapping a steel rail. Bancroft Nebraska Sept 21 Peter Olsen who shot and killed Mary Peterson in Omaha on Sept 8 was killed by a posse three miles north of Bancroft after being recognized in a barber shop. Olsen shot Peterson because she refused his attentions and fled town before authorities captured him. He died from shotgun wounds after a volley from the posse.
