Expulsion of Isadore Wulfson by Kennesseth Israel
The Kennesseth Israel congregation at Eddy and Merrill streets expelled Isadore Wulfson on October 19 1902 by a majority vote after he refused to answer charges. He was accused of attempting to incite a riot during New Year’s and the Day of Atonement incidents and of placing a package in the synagogue corridor later found to be pig’s feet. The resolutions threaten prosecution if he comments further and call on Mayor Bookwalter and the Board of Safety to ensure Wulfson attends to his own affairs. A copy of the charges and expulsion is to be sent to all Hebrew congregations in the city.

Daughters of Pocahontas oppose Red Men home plan
At the Improved Order of Red Men annual gathering the committee on funding a home for indigent Red Men was shelved as members argued against building a home for orphans or indigent members. They debated approving grants to the Red Men's League, with figures discussed ranging from fifty to three hundred dollars, before the report failed to advance and the meeting adjourned without action on the project.
