Bituminous Coal Prices Rise at Mines and Expected Indianapolis Increase
Bituminous coal prices have been raised at Indiana mines by 60 cents per ton and dealers in Indianapolis may follow with higher retail prices. Cincinnati shows no imminent famine with coal at elevator $3.50 a ton downtown, $4.25 up the hill, making local prices potentially about $6.10 if the mine advance is passed through.
