A northern relief column clashed with a large native force with unclear results. The uprising is linked to the execution of a Bondelsenar chief by German officers.

The firm tendered $33063 for premiums and interest but Blair did not accept. Blair was summoned to appear in court without oath.
A clash on the Brazilian frontier between Uruguayan police and Brazilians left several dead and many wounded. Gentil Gomez was arrested in Riviera. Santa Ana Delivramento residents attacked after the arrest. The Riviera mayor, brother of Gomez, demanded Gomez surrender. Rivera authorities moved Gomez to Brazil. riots included stoning of the Santa Ana consulate. Brazil promised investigation. Uruguay protested to Rio Janeiro.
New York report claimed Robert Goelet and Eleanor Anderson wed. Goelet says there is not one word of truth, never heard of her, and has returned from Newport after being abroad. He calls the story outrageous and distasteful to his family amidst a sister’s forthcoming marriage.
In St Louis on November 5 Adolph Fein former secretary of the Hebrew branch of the Jefferson Club was sentenced to five years in prison and fined 1000 dollars after a three day trial for aiding and abetting in naturalization frauds. After court adjourned Mrs Fein attacked witness Abram Gottesman as he left the building and had to be restrained by friends.
In Chicago today Alfred Berger awaiting a train to Monmouth to face bank robbery charges, while his sister Hattie Berger is taken to Milwaukee by detectives on burglary accusations. Brother Gus Berger also under arrest in the case.
