Angry Delegates At County Convention Split Over Nomination
Angry Democrats who attended yesterday's county convention did not return for the township meeting. Friends say they were sore at how they were handed hot issues by director Taggart. The ballot for representative caused a backlash as Holteman stood alone with others read off. The chairman did not announce Garrard's vote, claiming seventy six, while he counted over eighty. Tally sheets were sought but not shown.
