Lockerbie Street Fair Nets Profits For Fresh Air Mission

The Lockerbie street fair ended last night with net profits estimated between 800 and 1000 dollars. Funds will furnish the Fresh Air Mission cottage at Fairview Park and endow its working fund, with about 400 dollars for furniture and the remainder for the mission. Miss Lavinia Oakes led the committee, and a decision on next year’s fair will likely be made soon. Souvenir copies of James Whitcomb Riley's poem were sold, and the vaudeville show, old fish pond, and Imnist Zoe Zoe booth drew crowds, with profits from last night’s vaudeville around 10 dollars.
