Merchants discuss potential Indianapolis horse show plans

A merchants committee led by Frank M. Murphy met at the Columbia Club with C DeGarmo Gray of Kansas City to review feasibility and costs for a fall horse show. They may choose Capitol Avenue site, target a tented week after the Indiana State fair and before Louisville, seeking bigger entries and prizes. Weather and finance previously hindered last year’s event, but interest remains high.
