Groups of deputy marshals from Denison Texas to Muckogee lament the failure of an outlaw gang to hold up the north bound Katy Kains Thore ey eight. Officials released a tip that the north bound train would be robbed near Cheecotab and planned an elaborate entertainment. Deputy marshals led by Sept Sullivan of Denicon oversaw a twenty whloebesters orchestra. The southbound train also had a company but both performances were canceled for lack of a house.
A 1902 Muskogee incident reports Deputy Marechal Bud Kell arresting Wm Wade on burglary charges after a nighttime attempt to sell stolen goods in a railroad yard. Also mentions Charley Coru and a youth suspect with prior time served.
