Doctor Brown Urges Spirit Unity for Church Union

Homewood Resident Returns From Bahamas Undersea Expedition
Leon L. Pray, a Homewood resident, returned after ten weeks with the Field Museum Williamson Bahamas Undersea Expedition. He collected museum specimens, photographed and filmed marine life near Nassau, including four captured sharks with the largest at eleven feet. The sharks will be mounted for Field Museum exhibit, and Williamson aims to extend undersea photography to greater depths.

The Village Board passed an ordinance to improve 183rd Street between Western Avenue and Klimst with a pavement under the subway, enabling traffic to pass beneath Illinois Central tracks. Morning Nude Wanderer Stirs Chicago Suburbjeans Panic
John Bowler a 60 year old man wandered down Dixie highway and Main street with only a hat and shoes causing near panic among Homewood residents. Police pursued, Bowler arrested and sent to the Psychopathic Hospital for observation. he had recently left Forest Home Infirmary and had no means of support. A bystander quipped that he was the only sane man in town.
