In 1928 Bloom Township High School District voters authorized a 760000 bond for a new building north of the present site. Territory disputes with Thornton District were resolved in 1929. current law allows no detachment to another district. The board invites questions on study programs and pupil transportation as the district proceeds with the new high school. Jess Campbell, longtime Methodist Sunday school superintendent, will relocate to Lincoln around July.

William Faasch Dies of Stroke at 62
William C. Faasch, longtime Burnside railroad shop worker, died Wednesday morning after a stroke suffered June 1. He was born March 4, 1881, married Flora Lotteff in 1912, and left a widow and two sons, both Concordia College students. He survived with artificial legs and a supportive family. Funeral services were held at Salem Lutheran Church with German and English readings. interment at Oak Lawn.
