Doctor Loutzenhiser Weds Miss Wayde in Early Sunday Ceremony
Dr. Loutzenhiser married Miss Dott Wayde of Coffeyville Kansas after a ceremony on September 19 in town. He has practiced medicine with Dr. Catudal and is active in the Essex Club and Salina Elk Lodge. The couple will reside with Mr. and Mrs. J F Jordan this winter before building a home.

S V Pratt Dies of Stroke at 55 Near Kitchen Stove
S V Pratt died Sunday at about 9 30 in the morning from a heart apoplexy while near the kitchen stove. He was 55 and had poor health for years. Survived by a wife and fourteen children all at the funeral held Wednesday at the Lutheran church with Rev Brown and Rev Wiest officiating. Pallbearers were Herbert and John Chittenden J H Spratt J P Shutts M J Goff and Chris Wise. The family received community sympathy. Also a five year old son of David Burch was accidentally shot by his sister with a small rifle last Thursday. The gun discharged as they walked to the house, the ball entering the boy quiet near the heart. the life was saved and he was recovering.
