Commencement Week At Neplitz College Features
Fifty eight graduates will receive diplomas as the Class of 58 is honored in a May week at Norma Auditorium. Baccalaureate services Sunday May 15 and commencement Thursday May 19 at 10 am feature Doctor Daniel L Kurts of McPherson College as speaker. Court convened May 2 1921 for term lasting to May 14 1921 officers present included Judge Purcell Sheriff Leiker Clerk Wiesner County Attorney Joy Deputy Engel and Bailiff. Festival Week At Fort Hays Normal School A Success
The Fort Hays Kansas Normal School festival closed with The Messiah sung by a 578 member chorus and an New York quartet. Rosa Powelsin performed recital, and high school choruses from Bunkerhill Morland La Crosse and Mossington competed. The event drew attendees from 150 miles in all directions and was described as one of the nation’s top festivals.
