Patriotism the Keynote at Lincoln French day service
The July 16 1918 Lincoln Kansas service at the Methodist church honored the French Republic with a patriotic program. Dr Hale led the address with a call for democracy across Europe. The event featured a 40 member Methodist choir and flags of allied nations forming a pulpit curtain with the Blue Cross guards present.
