The note cites rising costs of paper and necessities and asks patrons to accept the 50 cent increase with good humor. A. L. Clark & Son sign the notice. Obituary notices follow. Earl V. Kellogg born May 30 1886 died February 12 1920 at Hays Kansas after influenza. He leaves a wife and parents with six brothers and other relatives. Pearl Sidenius Jameson born January 11 1391 in Elgin Illinois died February 10 1920 in Chicago after public school music work at Fort Hays. survived by husband Dr. C H Jameson and daughter Mary Ann. Burial in Plainville and Hays cemetery services noted.
