Kansas lifts wheat embargoes after clean test results
Kansas Agriculture Department says grain tests show little or no residue from leaf rust fungicide in northwest wheat. Embargoes on 40 fields totaling about 4,659 acres were lifted, with Quilt and Bumper products noted for their shorter waiting periods. Agriculture Secretary Adrian Polansky cites possible proper harvest timing but warns applications may have been ill advised.
