Project D.R.E.A.M. Inc. announced July 11 to 15 and August 1 to 5 camps at Cedar Bluff Reservoir for children ages 9 to 12 from chemically addicted families. Fees vary by income. reservations and info by phone.

Applications for youth awards now accepted recognize individuals or groups completing environmental projects. Eligible participants include students from Iowa Kansas Missouri and Nebraska under EPA Region 7 in Kansas City. The program offers one award with two components.

Supervisors Geneva Dies and Carmen Armantrout with the High Plains Garden Club announce theme Go Hog Wild, exhibit reception July 14, release July 18, with NGC seals, cash and ribbon awards, and rules on entries, judging, and materials. Exhibits must be exhibitor-grown and named, with various design and entry stipulations and junior division details.
