Codicil Granting Wanda Oborny Big Estate Ruled Invalid
Kansas Senior Judge William Lyle Jr ruled that a codicil favoring Wanda Oborny to a nearly 21 million dollar estate is invalid. The decision preserves the Fort Hays State University Foundation and other beneficiaries from the late Earl O Field’s will. Field died February 19 2013 at age 98 and had no children. Oborny had worked for Field since 2008 and received substantial lifetime gifts.
