Extended outlook shows Friday a chance of rain across south central and southeast regions with temperatures dipping to the teens to lower 20s and daytime highs in the 30s east and 40s west. Saturday remains dry with teens to lower 20s at night and highs near 40s. Sunday stays dry with upper teens and 20s nights and 40s to low 50s in the southwest.

Project SERV AmeriCorps and the Children's Department of the Hays Public Library invite children ages 5 to 14 to join The Read Hays program.
