Guard confesses to murder in Marike de Klerk death
A 21 year old security guard at Marike de Klerk's Cape Town complex confessed to killing the former first lady. He told a Cape Town judge he was involved, and faces court Monday. Autopsy showed strangling and stabbing. no items missing from the home. The guard was identified only by authorities. Her memorial drew about 100 attendees as family urged better crime control. Marike de Klerk to be buried in Pretoria Saturday.
