Sheriff McMillan and two deputies raided a frame house east of the Braden building early Sunday, arresting C A Brooks and others. A. E Carey and Mrs. James McIntire were bound over to district court. Brooks paid a $25 fine for drunk and disorderly conduct. The Laird woman moved her case to Basin. the raid marked the first Greybull operation by the new county officers.

Former Greybull Teacher Edna Karr Pathe Dies at Powell
Edna Karr Pathe died Wednesday afternoon at Whitlock hospital Powell after an operation. She taught three and a half years in Greybull schools and was married to Lawrence Pathe in 1921. They later lived on a Frannie homestead and she had been teaching in Garland schools this winter. Burial will be in Portland, Oregon. The death shocked her Greybull friends.

Case of liquor making and brutality alleged
John Eades, living between Cowley and Deaver, was arrested last Thursday by Deputy Sheriff Marchant of Cowley on manufacturing intoxicating liquor charges. He allegedly used force against his wife during stove top liquor production, injuring her and causing a dead-born child and serious condition. He was captured in Bridger Canyon while fleeing toward Montana. the couple reportedly has five children.
