Don Gurule Held After Basins Hearing On Abduction Charge
Don Gurule faced a basin hearing before Justice Draper after a two to three week old warrant accused him of entering Joseph Hensley home and abducting Martha Allen, a girl aged about sixteen to eighteen. Witnesses, including Mrs Hensley and Gurule himself, described the home invasion, the gun, and Gurule’s claim that the girl was his property. Martha was not in court. The judge planned to impose a $50 fine.

The April term of the Wyoming Supreme Court opened Monday with seventy one cases on the docket. On appeal from Big Horn County the court passed on John Seaman administrator of Gilmore Hartigan estate versus Big Horn Canal Association affirming the lower court judgment and Atkins et al versus Hunsaker et al in error, proceedings in error dismissed.

Mrs. Adolph Aliason an early resident died Wednesday morning at St. Luke's Hospital after a cancer illness. The family, long based in California, had returned here last summer to manage property and hoped to move back this spring. Burlington to complete bluff cut at yards this spring
The Burlington will finish cutting down the bluff at the south end of the yards this spring and straighten the kink in the main line track. A large amount of bluff has been removed over four seasons for ballast and rip rap at bridges along the line. Mrs. Wm. Jones is reported ill this week.
