Forest groups seek federal aid for Mt Idaho to South Fork road

The forest forces urge citizens to push for government assistance to build an eight mile wagon road from near Mt Idaho to the South Fork bridge. Supervisor Ring outlined a plan at the Commercial Club luncheon to secure funds, estimate about 6500 dollars, and boost timber milling and mining access for Grangeville and Clearwater country. A drafting committee was formed to address the secretary of agriculture.

No Cause For Hard Feelings On Annexation View

The Kooskia Mountaineer urges no hard feelings after the annexation and county division vote. The University of Idaho Forestry Department announces a bulletin describing forest trees best suited to Idaho and how to plant them. School Board Signs Bonds and Plans for Growth
