Second Annual Days of 49 Show Planned At Dreamland Hall

Arrangements are complete for the second annual Days of 49 show under the Cowboy band auspices with a large costume display by many young women in cowgirl style. A gambling den and a running wheel will entertain guests as doors open at 7:30. Dreamland hall hosts dancing from 8, featuring Venetian Troubadours concert, then music for the dance. Greenbacks souvenir program and a dime price mark appear on posters.

Urge Men to Enroll for Ship Work in Idaho

Pupil Spell Contest Scheduled Across Counties

Fine interest shown in Salmon River road bond vote

The Salmon River district, part of the White Bird highway area, approved a $15,000 bond by a 370 to 10 vote after just three of 96 ballots in their subdivision. The Commercial club lauded the effort at a luncheon and urged quick advertisement of the bonds to secure funds for the post road to White Bird. State and federal funds, already ready, require a sixteen foot roadway, prompting the additional bond issue.

County Superintendent Tours Snowbound Elk City District
