Theodore Reynolds, an escaped horse thief, has been hunted for two weeks by county officers. Hunting season opened last Monday with local parties of two to a dozen taking to foothills before nightfall. Some teams returned well supplied with grouse while others came home empty handed yet all enjoyed the exercise. Homer Ward fell from a horse near Tula last Sunday sustaining a fractured nose and severe bruises. He was found unconscious by the roadside and transported to Grangeville for treatment, remaining unconscious for a day or two before slowly recovering.
