Venice Youths Head to Europe for Two Month Tour
Three Venice VHS graduates now college students embark on a two month auto tour of Europe. Jerry Meadows Gordon Struble and Martin Satava leave New York Kennedy Airport for Paris then train to Heidelberg. They plan to visit Holland Belgium France Germany Denmark Sweden Norway Finland Greece Spain Turkey Italy and Switzerland. They speak several languages and will use student IDs for reduced meals and lodging. Mystery light over Southwestern sky reported by Tyrrells
Mr and Mrs Bradley Tyrrell III of East Gate reported a pulsating white light in the Southwestern sky last Tuesday night. Mrs Tyrrell said the light flashed about 12 times at one second intervals, appeared as large as Venus, and remained stationary about 40 degrees above the horizon before fading.
