Parade Winners Named in Ringling Bicentennial Parade
Judges faced tough calls as awards were handed for participation in the Ringling Bicentennial Parade. High schools led, with Largo Band of Gold winning first, Seminole second, and Riverdale Raiders third. ROTCs and boy scout troops also won prizes, while professional floats DeSoto Celebration first, Lehigh Spring Acres second, Strawberry Festival third. Vel Post 159 Legion won top homebuilt float. Garden Elementary took second.
