Venice Named National Bicentennial Community

Venice Florida earned the national Bicentennial Community designation from ARBA after detailing past and planned events. Terry Ewing, chair of the Venice Area Bicentennial Committee, noted support from Senators Chiles and Stone and a letter from President Ford praising local programs and urging continued celebration planning.
